Hi, all!
First, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Fr. Philip A. Smith Fellowship for providing me with this life-changing experience. I truly cannot adequately express my appreciation in words. From the bottom of my heart, I humbly thank the Providence College Fr. Smith Fellowship program for making this trip possible. I also would like to humbly thank my family, friends, and the Providence College community who have given me the inspiration and support to embark on such a journey.
On June 1st, I will depart from JFK, New York City en route to Manila! I will be spending six and a half weeks at the Sto. Niño Bethany House Orphanage in Tabe Guiguinto, Bulacan. For the duration of my stay, I will be living with the children and helping the Dominican sisters who run the orphanage. I am hoping to periodically post to keep family and friends updated, stay tuned.
